Tour Packages
The packages below are intended as to give you ideas on what is available. You can choose any of them or mix and match between them.
Note that the packages are set up so that the same group can do all of them in different years – preferably in the order listed – without hardly any day alike the other. The packages are designed to gradually raise the bar to higher levels of golfing experience.
We take groups between 4-12 but have found the ideal number of golfers to be eight (7 + local guide). With only eight people the group is tight, information sharing becomes easy, since we only need one vehicle, everyone can sit at the same dinner table and share information and we can play 2 fourballs.Troon True Links Experience.
–> Also take a look at the meny “Less Is More Exploration Series”. These are tours unlike the ones below and only to remote destinations on the British Isles for people to buy into the “Less Is More” concept.

Ireland, Wales, North-east Scotland and also England
HGT’s specialty is to make groups feel welcome in what we regard as our own neck of the woods, which is Ayrshire &Arran, Kintyre & Islay, where we enjoy good deals on hotels, green fees etc and are regarded as frequent returning groups by the staff on the places we visit.
That said, we very much welcome requests for golf tours in other parts of Scotland, in Ireland and in Wales and take pride in walking the extra mile in investigating ways to set up a unique and personalised tour in these areas. Examples:
- The stretch from Dornoch via Inverness down to Aberdeen
- Kingdom of Fife with the St Andrews area, Crail, Lundin, Leven, Dumbarnie and many more
- East Lothian
- Northern Ireland: the three clubs of Royal Portrush, Portstewart and Castlerock have 7 links together
- Ireland: Donegal, Galway or maybe the southwest with Dingle, Dooks, Tralee, Ballybunion, Castlegregory etc.
- Wales has 15 true links and many other interesting courses
- England, for example Cornwall or Devon with Somerset
