Links Bagging

A Munro is a Scottish mountain with an elevation of more than 3,000 feet (914 metres), and you can ‘bag’ one by reaching the summit, hence the term Monro Baggers. Similar to that, yours truly is a Links Bagger, see below:

According to the True Links-book by Michael Campbell & George Peper, there are 246 True links in the entire world. They assessed 1100 links courses to come up with these 246 that suffiently met their critiera to be classed as True Links, primarily sandy soil, fast running fairways, proximity to the sea and preferably no trees and situated by an estuary. 210 of these true links are located on the British Isles, and only 36 in the rest of the world.

My mission as a “links-bagger” is to bag all the 210 on the British Isles. So far I have played 125 out of the 210 and have 84 to go (see below).
